Master Bathroom Makeover

Last Friday I finished painting our bathroom. Here it is BEFORE…

Very GREEN :)

Here it is AFTER…

In addition to painting - I also put bamboo shades on the window (Lowe’s) and replaced all chrome bathroom fixtures with brushed nickel (Home Goods),

I’m not set on décor in here. I kind of just threw together whatever we had on hand until I' decide… I do LOVE the built-in bureau though! I use it for towels, extra bath and beauty supplies, first aid stuff, etc. It’s super handy.

Coming soon - new shower curtain, no more saloon doors on potty room (I mean really…), and no more gold door hardware. But at least it’s MUCH more enjoyable for now :)

The color I chose for in here is Comfort Gray by Sherwin Williams (SW-6205), in an eggshell finish. I really wanted a soft blue-green like what we put in our old bathroom, but with the lighting in here everything was looking a lot more teal than I wanted. Turns out the gray undertones are exactly what this room needs!

That's actually the same color we painted our master bedroom! I love it, and it looks different in different lights. We actually had painted our son's nursery that color in our old apartment, and my parents recently painted their kitchen comfort gray. Popular color around here, haha :) Crazy what a difference some paint and new hardware can make! Your house is really coming along fast!

Love it! We are building in August and I want to change some of hte colors around and not do the whole house in the same beige color. Hubby isnt happy. He can have the same color on every wall and not care!
