Work Week : Day 4

[I also blogged Day 3 earlier today.]

We started out Tuesday making several moving loads. Most of the kids’ closets are moved and ready.

Poor Knox asked if we were having “Old McDonald” again for breakfast…

He was right. My poor kids are SO ready for real food again!

Both of our “crews” finished up on Tuesday. Moises finished moving the loft entrance.

Instead of being in the middle of the hallway, it’s now tucked away nicely in the corner of the guest bedroom (which I’m painting today).

Hopefully we’ll get around to painting the loft this weekend, and we’re having all the carpets replaced next week.

Our ceiling guys also painted the living room.

Before (above) it was all paneled walls painted the trim paint color.

Now it’s the same color as the rest of our living areas (Creamy Mushroom, Behr). I think it’s made this room so much more inviting! And it was a lot easier than replacing the paneling with sheetrock.

It’s starting to look a little more like OUR house :)

Looks great! How did you talk your husband into letting you spend all that money on paint, carpet, etc.- I NEED a tutorial on that:))))

Thanks! @Mara- LOL! It was all agreed upon before we put in a contract. This home was on the lower side of our price range because it did need some updates, so that helped too. And my husband's used to it ;)
