February Photo-A-Day: 21-29

{21} A Favorite Photo of You

I honestly don’t know what my FAVORITE photo of me is, but I just so happened to be organizing and packing photos and keepsakes this day when I came across a stack of 2007 Varsity catalogues. AKA: My 15 minute (or pages) of fame…

This was so fun! I was flown to Dallas for a week, put up in a fancy hotel, and paid to be a part of that year’s catalogue photo shoot. It was mainly models, but they brought on me and one guy so we could do stunts…

There you have it. Proof that there WAS a time when I was able to do cool things. There a more throughout the catalogue, but these were just the first I came to.

I chose these photos because they represents a very neat experience for me. Not to mention they represent a younger, professionally made-up me doing something I love ;)

{22} Where You Work

Hmmm… I hate saying that I “don’t work” because it really doesn’t feel that way at all. In fact, sometimes I wish I could spend 8hrs a day with rational, logical adults and zero poopy diapers, laundry, and Elmo singing in the background.

But I am grateful for the opportunity to be a stay-at-home mom while my kids are little. I feel like I work 18+ hours a day, mainly in the laundry room, at the kitchen sink, and in the car…

So I chose THIS for where I work… Laundry and dishes are never-ending around here, and the fact that H is in the picture is actually quite appropriate. Whenever I’m loading/unloading I spend the entire time chasing her out of the dishwasher.

{23} Your Shoes

This was taken while closing on our house!

Nothing special about these shoes. I think I got them at Marshalls. Typically I’m in my TOMS but both pairs had gotten wet and were drying. And yes - those are white pants. I don’t even care that it’s February because it was like 85 all week and our trees are green. Crazy…

{24} Inside Your Bathroom Cabinet

This was moving day, so technically my cabinet was empty, but I thought ahead and got one before I packed :)

Hair stuff on the left, lotions in the middle, and extra products on the right.

{25} Green

I totally forgot about this one all day.

I snapped this as we were driving back from cleaning the house Saturday night.

{26} Night

Usually after the kitchen is clean, I like to sit down and enjoy a little Mommy time. I catch-up on blogging, email, etc. And sometimes enjoy something sweet and a caffeine-free Diet Coke :)

{27} Something You Ate

I had PW homemade salsa, chips, and fresh avocado for lunch…

I usually eat 2 snacks during the day instead of a  big lunch. And most times one of those is leftover chicken nuggets from the kids lunch, goldfish, or the edges of a sandwich after I’ve cut it in a heart.

{28} Money

Loose change in the junk drawer.

Snacky-snack, snack, snack. Snack. Snack. Snack… Snacky-snack, snack. SNACK. SNACK. SNACK!

Oh I hate Yo Gabba Gabba. Unfortunately Hadley LOVES it…
