If you're new to my blog, I try to answer any and all questions right there in the comments section. A lot of people don't have their e-mails linked to Google, and this way if any one else is wondering the same thing they can know too :) So if you ask something, just remember to check back for an answer. But I'll go ahead and answer a few questions/comments from the past few posts…
On-Star. Yes we do have it and I'm not sure if I mentioned it in the post, but it is (eventually) how we got the Tahoe open. James and I have the On-Star and Chevy Apps on our phones which will both unlock/start the Tahoe. However, I had left my phone at home and I didn't know the On-Star number off hand. (I do now!) Luckily, I was able to borrow one of the fireman's phones and get a hold of James before they knocked my windows in. He was able to unlock it for us with his phone from Houston. YAY On-Star! :)
The table in the previous post is the Activity Table from PBKids. We found this on Craig's List a few years ago and it has been perfect for what we need in the playroom. We store wooden blocks in one drawer, legos in the other, and all of Knox's trains and other things go in their designated cubbies of our Cameron Storage System… Another PBK jewel we were able to find on Craig's List! :)
The pants pattern I used for Hadley's Christmas set… It's called the Piper Pant from Romeo and Mae. They have several cute ruffle pant designs. I just like this one because it has a thick ruffle. And it's super easy…
And the question of the year - do I make things to sell??? I'm so flattered any of y'all like my things enough to buy! I'm my toughest critic so most of the time I like my creations a lot, but if someone else made me the exact same thing I would think it was WAY cuter. (Does that make sense???) Also, I'm a little obsessive-compulsive and I'm pretty sure it takes me 3 times longer to sew/embroider things than the average person, just because I add in several extra steps for quality and everything just has to be perfect. (Because, ya know, the world would probably end if it wasn't…) This may be a good thing, but unfortunately it wouldn't make me a very profitable seamstress-for-hire! I wish I could think of where I saw that Grinch set that inspired me to make Hadley's. I would send you all there!
The "etc." of this post would be yet another video of Hadley. This one only to prove that she CAN walk… She just prefers crawling.
No, but really - I wanted to go ahead and post/document this because it's like something clicked today and she started walking a lot. She does it more when I'm not trying to make her and she's not really thinking about it. In fact I had my phone out trying to get pics of her here, I could tell she was about to walk so I switched it to video real quick. So glad I got it too. I haven't been able to catch her in action yet ;)
Maybe she just felt extra grown up today because I put her in big girl jeans for the first time. (*Sniffle*) I think we will revert back to something smocked and bubbly tomorrow to make up for it. Although she looked awful cute.
