Ok I'm a little weirded out that my 13 month old is trying to speak in sentences. She loves mocking her brother, so her favorite thing to do lately is say "Mama, I …" and then goes on to mumble things that sometimes sound like words. It's crazy because we'll turn around and be like, Wait, was that Knox or Hadley???
One thing she has been saying for a little while now is "I love you." She probably started saying it a few weeks ago but I was like Surely, that can't be what she's saying… Well as of this Monday, I'm sure. She repeated it after me verbatim 3 times. I tried to recreate it for camera here.
It's not as clear as she usually says it, but you can still kind of tell. Sounds like "Yiii Yuv Oooo"
This next one was another attempt, but she doesn't say it here. She's still cute so here ya go…
Oh wait, don't y'all want to hear me say "I love you" just one more time??? Ha!
No, but usually when I ask her a question she'll say Yeah! so I'll ask her if she's a princess, if she's spoiled, if she wants a pony, etc. Oh the things that entertain me ;)
Hadley is turning out to love school. Or at least they love her. Lol. Every time I pick her up someone's bragging about getting to love on her that day.
I love these little notes her teachers send home. Knox gets them too but his teachers have always used a more generic form they just copy for the entire class. I like how this one tells me how many wet/dirties she had and how well she ate and napped. Although I find it comical that we're paying to send her to MDO 5 hours a day, and she's napping for 2 of those hours. Ha! And regarding the "Teacher's Comments" - no worries, ALL of Hadley's things are always labeled ;)
And today? Well, today was flu shot day :(
Hadley had to get the injection plus one of her leftover 12mo vaccinations, Knox got the mist, and I got the shot. Bring on the fall germs!

Awww, she is absolutely adorable!!
I am shocked that they let him have the mist with his asthma, lucky duck!!
I wasn't aware the mist was contraindicated with asthma??? (Bad mommy nurse...) But Knox actually has 'CoughVarientAsthma' - he only gets it at night, and allergens are his only main trigger. So maybe that's why... But yes, he's at an age where 1 shot can make him terrified of the dr for months, so we went w the mist!
Just stumbled upon your blog for the first time! I live in Arlington, TX and I'm in nursing school, I want to work in the NICU also :) Your little ones are so adorable. I'm looking forward to following your blog now!
