So I keep running in to this certain quote about little boys on Pinterest that reminds me so much of Knox…
It also reminds me of something I've always meant to do with him but have never taken a 5 minute break from life to do so.
There's this ranch home right outside the entrance to our neighborhood that has a horse pasture in front of it. Ever since we moved here I've wanted to stop the car on a day when the horses were by the fence to let Knox see them. We've been here a year and a half now and I never have.
Well today was that day.
On our way back from Knox's podiatrist appointment (which I just added an update on to the end of yesterday's post) I noticed the horses were out by the fence. So I pulled the car over. (Ok, at first I drove right past, so I had to turn around and THEN pull the car over.) Left it running with the flashers on for Hadley, and Knox and I got out to just look at horses…
He was fascinated. Heck, I was fascinated. I love horses. I wish I owned them. I just think they have such sweet, honest souls.
This was the friendlier one. He came right up to the fence as soon as he saw us and just wanted to be petted and loved. We may have to come back and sneak him some apples one day.
So there you have it…
We have now, officially done everything on this list.
Some more than others… ;)

Okay, I LOVE that little quote you found! It totally made me tear up! I am such a softie! Glad your appointment with ok with Know. I totally understand the "terror" phase..."3" I am wishing we could skip this age...but then I remember that there are so good sweet days in the mix of it all :) Oh and by the way I CAN'T BELIEVE OUR GIRLS ARE ONE (well I have a few more days...lol)!!! It seems like just yesterday we were having them...

Love it! Horses are so beautiful! Jackson loves it when I stop on a road with lots of trees (he calls it a forest) and roll down the windows. He loves listening to the birds/bugs/etc in the "forest". Boys are precious souls!
