We got our SheSheMade outfit just in time and Hadley looked SO adorable in it. I couldn't choose just one picture...
I swear - you could make an outfit out of the bloomers and bow alone. Thanks, Ashley!!!
{I would give anything if Knox was looking in this pic.}
{Tough love.}
The spread...
I just ordered BBQ/slaw/beans from Corky's, made up some deviled eggs, and served it with some Panchos dip and chips. Easy.
And for you Texans - THIS is BBQ...
Pulled pork on a bun, slathered with sauce, topped with slaw. I never knew BBQ was anything else until I moved to Texas!
And...
Banana Pudding for dessert. (Paula Deen's Not Yo Mama's Banana Pudding)
Then it was time to sing Happy Birthday...
This sequence of pics is hysterical to me because throughout the whole song I was trying to keep H from putting her hands in the pudding and Knox from lighting his candle on fire...
Thank God I had my birthday pro there to help blow out the candle ;)
I honestly believe this is the first time I ever let Hadley spoon feed herself. She was so neat about it though.
Hadley was showered with lots of great gifts. I told everyone we needed girl things. Our house is overrun with gender neutral baby toys and boy things. You'd never know a little girl lives there. They delivered!
My Aunt Paula got her this adorable little crocheted mermaid from a shop in Destin and she took to it immediately!
Once again - SO glad big brother was there to help open gifts. What would we do without him???
{Uncle Nick's present included a Memphis Tigers pacie clip. OF COURSE!}
{Told you - she LOVES that mermaid!}
{Mrs. Potts Tea Set from Aunt Mandy.}
{Big brother got a few presents too.}
{My mom got her her first American Girl - Bitty Baby!!!}
{Hadley is fascinated by her babies. I love it.}
After presents we headed out for a dip in the pool...
{Poppy and Uncle Nick.}
{Wrapped.}
So anyway - the party was a successful and stress-free. I did have to buy an extra bag at Target to get Hadley's presents home. Oh well - we can always use more luggage.
I still have several other things to touch on from the last half of our week in Tennesee, so I'll try to that up soon.
