Just Another Friday Night

First - I LOVED reading y'alls comment on my name post! So glad to know it wasn't taken the wrong way. It's a strange thing, hard to put in to words. So I was relieved so many of y'all can relate :)

NOW - Thought I'd pop in to share some randoms before the weekend :)

Now that Hadley is moving towards toddler hood - I'm loving watching the relationship between her and Knox develop and deepen. They truly are partners in crime. Hadley tends to sleep in and Knox gets SO excited in the morning when I tell him we need to go wake her up. It's a ritual I need to catch on video. They have about a 5 minute giggling and hugging session every morning.

Another one of their favorite things to do is to sneak off to a room (usually our bathroom or closet, or James' office), shut the door, and just play.

They laugh and think they're doing something grand until mommy "catches" them.

We got out for a few errands today and ended up running in to some MudPie outfits on Clearance. I snagged up one for Miss Hadley. Their outfits are some of my favorites...

Ha! How bout that bow, y'all??? Say what you will but with those feathers, I think Kate Middleton would be proud of our girl ;)

She was cracking me up though. She'd see a feather out of the corner of her eye and try to "catch" it. Kind of reminded me of a dog chasing it's tail... She got used to it though. See what this girl has to put up with???

After James got off work today, we ran across town to pick up a pure jewel that I'd found of Craig's List earlier this week...

Our Cameron Storage System!

I love having a loft playroom. It's my saving grace most days. But I could strangle the builders for not including any shelves or closet space in here... We bought an activity table off CL last year and I've been looking for this storage system to match ever since. Persistence and patience paid off - we got these for less than a third of what it would've cost us to order them from Pottery Barn! Baskets included.

I'll be spending the rest of my weekend with a Magic Eraser, redoing the ribbon on the baskets, and reorganizing toys. It's a beautiful thing though. Organization...

What a find!! I wish we could get something like that. Where did you find Mud Pie on sale? I might have to swing by there next week when I'm in town. Love reading your blog and seeing your pins. Aren't you just addicted!?!

What a great find! My husband had to build one for our son's nursery because they are so expensive!

That's FABULOUS - I'd love to find something like that - it would go great in my living room - which also happens to be our playroom at the moment.

You sound like my sister's soulmate with your organization comment. She just emailed me this afternoon telling me she was bored because her daughter went to camp today - the house is clean - laundry done... so I sent her off to do some relaxing things... but instead she went to Barnes & Noble to read organizational magazines, headed to the Container Store... and is now redoing her closets tonight.
