Knox started soccer camp this week - so we have that every morning from 8-9am with his friend Carter. They started yesterday, and 2 points to Momma for remembering to bring along the camera!
[Our friend Carter at the bottom, and his little brother William up there flirting with Hadley ;)]
Knox LOVES soccer at home so I thought this would be fun for him. He did pretty well yesterday but he must've woken up on the wrong side of the bed this morning. He was so mopey and whiney and did NOT want to participete. That's a 3yr old for ya... Luckily it's only an hour!
We also started swimming lessons this week - everyday at 5. After naps and the act of God it took for me to get all of us up to the Y yesterday, the girl looks at me and says Oh, the pool's closed today... (Someone pooped in it.) I was so livid. I mean I get it - accidents happen. But they at least could've called! Ugh. Anyway, we took adavantage of being 'out that way' and met Daddy for dinner at Chipotle and then made a Lowe's run, so it wasn't a complete wash...
Today was super crazy. After our whiney morning at soccer camp, I ran in to Joann's for something quick and then we headed to gymnastics at 10. I'm so glad we're doing this because Knox LOVES it. Especially since Max and Carter are doing it too. Not to mention I get in good Mommy gossip with Britney and Leslie ;)
Afterwards we all hit up Chik-fil-A for lunch and playtime. They know us well there... By this point we were all beat and it was only 11. So we headed home for naps. And OF COURSE both kids refused to go down by the time we got there! We've had a few rough nights with Hadley teething so I was really counting on this nap... Finally got them down after a few hours.
[Knox is on the end in the teal trunks. Should've brought my big lens.]
We DID make it to swim lessons today at 5 and Knox was thrilled! (He had a little melt down when we had to leave yesterday.) They just did basic stuff on their first day and his teacher seems like such a gentle sweetheart. I'm so so glad this is not a parent-involvement class. Knox listens and follows directions much better when I'm not around. Funny how that works...
After lessons, we met Daddy up at Lifetime. He had a training session and I randomly decided to try out the ROCK WALL! Pure craziness. I was able to move up four "levels" but I did find out that it's harder than it looks! The challenge was kind of fun though, so I think I'll be back :)
And a quick, official HAPPY BIRTHDAY to my husband! He's 31 today :) Of course, with work and his training session today we did our celebration on Sunday.
Tomorrow I'm supposed to get a massage at Lifetime (Oh YES!) in between all my chauffeuring and I've got a 10 month post for Hadley girl that I need to just take and add pics to. Hopefully I'll be able to get to that too!

Wow, tons of stuff going on! I miss working at the Y. I used to do the after school program.
I think it's so great you're getting your children involved in activities like this... soccer and swimming and what not.
:) Happy birthday to your hubby! Mine was yesterday!
Have a great day :)
Happy Birthday to the husband. My son just started swim lessons also and is having a hard time getting over that he cannot touch other then that he loves them.
