E-mails makes me smile, so send me a message :)

Unfortunately, I CANNOT COMMIT TO ANSWERING ANY EMBROIDERY QUESTIONS.
I also am not doing embroidery/sewing for hire at the moment...
I hate having to say that because I truly do love hearing from my readers. Even if it's just to say Hi. I love hearing where y'all are from and going to see your blogs and families... However, I've been knee-deep in embroidery-related questions for the past month. I can't seem to get caught up and I often feel like I'm saying the same things (to different people) over and over again. I truly love helping you all, which is why I wrote the Applique Tutorial post. But 43 out of 50 of my last e-mails are embroidery related and at the end of the day, that's just not what I signed up for...
I hate to leave y'all hanging though so if you have a question or issue...
{a} Read your manual! I knew nothing about embroidery when I got my machine, so I just had to delve in the old fashioned way with my manual and CD tutorial.
{b} Refer to my Applique Tutorial post. It goes through the step-by-step process of embroidery and I also pass on several trade secrets such as where I get my designs, supplies, etc. It really is everything I know in one place.
{c} If you're still having issues - GOOGLE the problem! I do this all the time. Google can fix anything. Unless it can't, and in that case...
{d} Call your local dealer! ie. If you have a Brother machine, find a sewing shop that carries Brothers. You can usually get on the company's site and do a search for the nearest one. And yes, I have done this before too! Usually when I was having problems that were beyond the normal "Troubleshooting" section in the manual...
But any other questions, comments, stories... Bring them on! :-P
