WILW

{1} First and foremost - I'm LOVING the fact that James' dad's surgery was a sucess yesterday and he is recovering well!

[If you're just tuning in, my FIL had a heart attack over the weekend and we had to pack up and head back "home" to Memphis. He had a triple bypass yesterday...]

What a blessing modern medicine is...

[Hadley bringing some baby joy to MiMi... And the entire ICU waiting room, for that matter.]

I went in on a bypass surgery in nursing school, and it just blows me away to think that surgeons can pull off what they do. They are literally the hands of God! ...YAY for nice new arteries and thank you all for the prayers!

{2} I am LOVING my new TOMS!

Admittedly, when I first saw Toms I thought they were hideous. Then I saw these 'Gilded Herringbone' ones and knew I could def wear them every other day; they are so cute! (I literally don't like any other ones...) Anyway I've been searching high and low for them in my size and apparently I'm not the only one who loves them, because they were no where to be found!

Insanely enough - my sister found a pair for me in Knoxville and is shipping them to me. YAY! When she got them the guy told her "I'm pretty sure these are the last Gilded Herringbones under a size 10 left anywhere." Excited to get them - I love comfortable flats and think they will be so cute with boyfriend crops and trouser shorts.

{3} I am LOVING Target... (Obviously.)

[Ok, the next 4 things involve a little Tuesday Target Therapy... (Yes, I am aware of my problem.) So I decided to group them all together as one...]

*First - My new Caboodle...

[I feel so silly saying "Caboodle" because I had one when I was like 9... But it looked a WHOLE lot different!]

I was a hot mess packing in a rush on Sunday, and I realized my toiletry hanging bag was totally shot. (Baby wash had leaked ALL in it...) So I chunked it and just threw all my things in plastic bags and went on...

[Not packed/organized here, but see - compartments galore!]

Yesterday I went to Target looking for something to get me through the rest of the trip and ran in to this Caboodle for just $24. It's actually pretty big too! Takes up just as much space as my old fold-up hanger, but fits way more things. I can fit everything plus my straightener/curling iron too. As much as we travel, yes this is exciting to me...

*Next - Alba Face Products...

I was also needing some new face cleanser and moisturizer so I picked these up as well... Pleased! They are all natural products and I feel like they really strip the toxins and residue from my face. (Reminds me a lot of Origins.) I have dry skin but - annoyingly enough - occassionally get stress break-outs so I typically go with something medicated to prevent blemishes - in this case "Acne-Dote" - but they have several different varieties.

*Third - My New PJs...

I love new lounge wear! I just liked the grey pants paired with the lace racer-back tank, and of-course I can wear the cardigan any time, but since I ALWAYS have a sweater/hoodie on around the house, I thought it was cute with these too.

*Lastly, My Hadley's new movie...

We took the kids to see this right before Christmas and I've been waiting for it to come out on DVD ever since.

It's just the cutest first princess movie for H, right??? And kudos to Disney for their BlueRay/DVD combo packs. We can play it at home AND in the car :)

PS - I was entirely too excited when I saw on the previews the Lion King is being re-released in the Fall. How old am I again???

{4} I am totally LOVING this...

My Dad took Knox to Toys-R-Us to pick out some dinosaurs (seriously, SPOILED!) and he's having so much fun with them. Yesterday I found that he'd set them up like this on one of my mom's bookcases - all in a line, complete with one laying eggs, one drinking water, and one chilling under a palm tree. It's so fun to see his little imagination kick in to gear! He's really in to role playing now with all of his action figures and animals.

First - Hadley is just a doll-baby!

So thankful your FIL's surgery was a success! Praying for a quick recovery.

Those jammies are so cute! There's nothing better than a new pair of pajama pants! Love Target!

YAY! I can't wait to buy the Lion King when it comes out again. It's my FAVE Disney movie and I know Jack will love it, too!

Knox's dinosaur set up is too cute!

Huge PRAISE for your FIL! I have been praying for him!!!!

I still have a caboodle and I packed it up when we went camping last weekend...haha! I guess I should pass it on down to Layla and get me a mommy one!

I'm always looking for new face stuff that I can get at Target/Walgreens/Walmart! I'm always at Target, so I will have to get me some Alba for sure!

I am actually headed to get Layla Tangled today! She has been asking for it :)

Be safe traveling!

LOVE all your target finds! We're headed there for the second time this week...and it's only Wednesday...plenty more days this week for additional trips!

I was going to see if you would do a post on potty-training methods that worked for you. We are on week 2, and I'm frustrated because he does great if I send him every hour, but he's still not telling me when he needs to go or just going by himself.

Anyway, it's nice to hear what works for others and maybe get a new idea! Canon and knox share a birthday, too. That makes me even more interested in what worked for him!

A caboodle, haha! I forgot all about those things!

So glad you mentioned that about the Lion King. I was just thinking yesterday that I wanted to get it and was wondering when it would be available. I've got it on VHS, so I def need DVD!

Agreed -- all the other Toms are not my thing... but yours are cute! I do have a bit of a crush on the silver glitter ones too... but I have no CLUE what I would them with.

Thanks for the Caboddles tip... um... I had no idea they still existed?!

I have the same feelings for TOMS. I have to admit, they are growing on me. I sorta, kinda, hate-to-admit-it want a pair!!

Secondly, love the face product you shared. I have the same issues. Going to try it!!! Always excited for things like this.

Love the Disney combo-packs!!! No fussing because the current fav is stuck in the house! One lives in the house, one is the car.
And I loved my Caboodle when I was a little girl. I had no clue they were still around!
Glad your FIL's surgery went well!
