Same-ole, same-ole...

Sorry I'm not full of bloggy excitement lately ;) Our week was kind of a non-eventful one once Mom left on Monday. Just our same weekly routine... Tues and Thur MDO, cleaning, laundry, sewing, etc... I did meet up with some friends on Thursday for a girls [+ babies] lunch - which was fun! Especially since 1 for sure, and probably 2, will be leaving me soon :(

[Mmmmm - prunes........]

Other than that we've been thinking and praying over several promising expansion opportunities that have popped up for James' company recently. We should know more in the weeks to follow, but it looks like we may be heading towards a season of change... Hopefully one for the better!

Today was another gorgeous day...

So Knox brushed up on his t-ball...

Base hit!

He takes it so seriously ;)

And of course there was also jumping...

He's in his underwear, I know... Pick your battles, right???

I told you he's gettting better at the whole jumping thing. He's finally getting some air!

Now we're gearing up with another fun weekend with family in-town. My Dad arrives tomorrow, along with my step-mom, 2 step-brothers, and my little sister from Knoxville. They stay til Tuesday and we've got some fun things planned!

And a mini Hadley update...

She's doing so well with her little cup! I give her a little bit of Gerber "baby juice" and let her sip on it all day. She's probably only taking an ounce or two total - but she's definitely got it down pat! I'm trying to prepare her for when we transition to cow's milk at a year... Since she's totally skipped bottles! I swear I bought all brand new Avents (because Knox's weren't BPA-free... How did he ever survive?!?) and she hasn't touched them. Prissy girl... Only the "good stuff" for her!

She's also officially in the sleep-fighting stage. I guess because she's now so alert she just wants to stay up and party. I'm testing out 1 nap (vs 2) today, so we'll see if she goes down easier tonight. Of course I'm also trying to train her to soothe herself down. I was adament about that with Knox and it made life SO much easier...

And we are SO close to having a crawler around here! I don't know what I'm going to do y'all, I'm so not ready. I just look around the house, think about everything that will have to be rearranged and cringe. Not to mention I'm not looking forward to stepping over a gate eveytime I go upstairs... But she really is just on the verge. She can scoot just about anywhere, and she'll ball her legs up under her trying to go. When she figures it out, there'll be no stopping her!
