Luckily I was able to throw her #7 onesie together before we left for TN. I didn't get to stitch around the applique, but she'll only wear it once so I'm not stressin...
The morining light in my mom's sunroom worked out well for pictures!
...The only time in her life when a "muffin-top" will be cute ;)
As for an update - we got in to Tennessee (my mom's house) Sunday evening and my mom had a tray of homemade lasagna waiting on us. Mmmmm... James headed up to the hospital to visit with his dad, and my brother and little sister came over to visit with me and the babies.
Today we went to lunch with my Dad and I let him watch Knox for a while so I could go with James up to the hospital to visit for a little bit. I took Hadley too, so you know my FIL got a kick out of a special visit from his only grandbaby girl! ...Along with the entire CVICU.
My FIL is in good spirits, stable, and is resting up for a triple bypass at 6:30am tomorrow. (*Prayers*) He's been blessed with a wonderful careteam! Ironically, there are no less than 5 nurses in the Baptist Hospital CVICU that I'm either good friends with and/or went to nursing school with, so he is getting the KING treatment for sure ;)
Speaking of knowing people - I never thought of Memphis as a "small town" until I moved to the *Big Texas City*... But in a matter of 2 hours today I randomly ran in to 5 people that I knew from high school, cheering, or college. I saw the 5th one from a distance as we were walking to the hospital and I was like "Hey, I know that girl from-" When James cut me off and was like "Ok, we get it, you are soooooo popular..." (Can you taste the sarcasm???) Hahahaha ;)
Anyway - thank you all for the prayers! I will definitely update tomorrow after surgery. All of my FIL's doctors and nurses seem very optimistic about his prognosis and expect him to be home by Saturday.

Haha... it is SUCH a small city, but I agree it's not noticed til you move away. Many prayers and thoughts for your FIL & family.
Happy 7 months to Hadley! Those are great pictures of her!!
I'll say a prayer for your FIL. So great that yall can be there with your family.
Just wanted to let you know that I stumbled on your blog awhile back (not sure through who, lol) and really enjoy reading it. Your kids are adorable, and I love all the crafty projects you accomplish. I grew up in Memphis (went to Harding Academy) and now live in Texas. Back when the University of Memphis was known as Memphis State, I went to volleyball camp there every summer. Just wanted to say hi!
What a big girl in her JEANS!! I love it!!
Sending prayers for a successful surgery for your FIL!
