Be gone, Icey Mess!

Coming to you from day #3 of being iced in NO fun! Luckily we've managed to keep our power for the most part, but we do have a frozen pipe that's cut off the hot water to half of the house. Meaning, we've (ok- James) have done 3 loads of dishes BY HAND. Needless to say - everything is to be eaten off paper products until this situation is resolved!

I like to get out of the house at least once a day, so y'all know this lockdown has got me going stir crazy! I guess a positive to being on house arrest is that it has given us the perfect opportunity to potty train Knox. Today was day 3 in big boy underwear and he's only had 2 accidents. I'm so proud!!! He even went #2 tonight, so you know I was doing the happy dance! (The things that excite us as parents...) Only nighttime Pull-Ups from her on out...

I've also had the chance to do a lot of sewing. In fact, I spent Wednesday afternoon cutting my guest towels to pieces! (Not finished with thie project, but I will share when I am.) And I finished up a onesie order for a Miss Savannah Grace this afternoon...

I went to highschool with Savannah's mommy and she is just a bit younger that Hadley.

Despite the icey mess, I did venture out today to run a few errands to get ready for the BIG weekend we have coming up! I'm pumped :)

Playing dress-up with Hadley yesterday. Doesn't she just look beach ready???

She is such my baby doll... And she's so fun these days! We're definitely seeing more and more of a little spit-fire personality from her everyday. Funny - because seeing as she will probably end up a middle child, this was my prayer for her... A strong personality, full of confidence, that does not fade in to the background. Ok - guess who was a middle child??? Ha! This is probably the reason I dote on her so much... But really - I don't see her fading in to the background ANYTIME soon!

And here she is with her MumMum. This is one of those random products I discovered with Knox, and he loved them. They're great for first self-feedings because they literally just dissolve. I think Hadley's liking them just as much as her brother did!

Ok - that's all. See you back Monday :)

Good for Knox (and you)! It's so nice to not be doing double duty on diapers! I think Miss Hadley's Beach Ready Outfit is too cute--and so is she :-)

Hey there! I found your blog a while ago and have enjoyed seeing pictures of your kiddos, they are so cute! We have 3 kids, ages 4, 3, and 1, and our youngest is a girl, so I am right there with ya on the girl thing! Pink exploded in our house and I LOVE IT! :) Hadley is a doll! And by the way, do you make all of Hadley's big solid color bows? I love them! What size ribbon is it? 1 1/2? They are great, I love them!

You are so talented! I wish I could create things half as cute as you do!

Also, I discovered Mum-Mums when AJ was ready to start "feeding" herself and she LOVED them! They're awesome because they're big enough for younger babies to hold them, so they can start on the mum mums before they'd start on the gerber stars!
