[Today was in th 30s - so Priss Pot was dressed for the COLD!]
If you're not up to speed on this - she's been sleeping in her cradle in our room since she was born. With our split floor plan, her room is upstairs, on the other end of the house which just seems SO far for me so I kept her with us for longer than I usually would... However, she was getting restless in that little cradle so last night I got brave and decided to give it a go. We ALL slept so much better! (And I only checked on her ohhh - 5 times...)
But really - she's almost 5 months, this transition was long overdue! Haha... Oh - and she's also been weaned off of sleeping swaddled on her Boppy. (Yes, I've come to grips that I can't force her in to being a newborn forever.)
But since my Saturday night post... We missed the snow by about 30 miles. We got a little "dusting" on Sunday but it quickly melted. I wasn't too sad about it, but it would have been fun to watch Knox play in it this year...
[I brought Knox's seat in to clean (GROSS) yesterday and he insisted upon sitting in it for like 2 hours straight. Strapped in!]
I've been doing a TON of organizing. About twice a year I go on a Good Will kick. I can NOT function with clutter, so if I can't find a spot for it, and we don't use it - off it goes! We've got a huge load waiting to be hauled off in the garage. Yesterday James actually said to Knox - "You better stop that or Mommy will throw you in the Good Will box..." Haha! That may be a little true...
Today, Knox went to MDO and Hadley and I met up with some friends for lunch to celebrate one of their birthdays. Girl time is always fun!
Now that I have my guest/craft room decluttered and reorganized I've got several projects to tackle... Later!

That Owl Hat is fabulous!! I found one similar to it on Etsy for my expected arrival :) We're also doing the nursery in Owls!
My kids always like to sit in their seats when we bring them in also. lol! Sillys.
Please, please, please tell me what you did to transition her off the swaddle. We tried for 3 weeks...one arm out, cold turkey and it was HORRIBLE. I finally swaddled her again and we are all getting some sleep. She will be 5 months next week and is trying to roll over! ivybsmith@gmail.com

I love Hadley's hat!
I am having a cleaning attack right now too. While both kids were at school earlier this week I put a huge pile of "charity" toys in a bag and hid them. I can't do that with them around. They think every toy is priceless...ha!
Knox is cracking me up sitting in that seat. And our seats gross me out too. No matter how much I scrub them...ick! I remember b4 having kids thinkin...I'd NEVER let their carseats get dirty. Mmmm huh. Life happens!!
We must meet someday and introduce our kids...they would have a super fun time playing :) & we'd have fun chatting too!!
