I love this topic! I love fall :)
{1} College Football!!!
It's a culture in the South. I love the whole atmosphere. The weather, the tailgating, the sound of an announcer from the press box. The rivalries... My teams???

My heart lies in the SEC and is loyal to the Volunteers! Yes, I am from Tennessee but no, I did not attend UTKnox. Although if I hadn't made the knee-jerk decision to graduate a year early and then fall in to a spot on the cheerleading squad and 2 full scholarships at the University of Memphis I'm sure I probably would have. (God apparently wanted me to be a Tiger!)
And our "adopted" team now that we live in Texas...

The "other" UT - the Texas Longhorns. There's not a whole lot of SEC love/coverage here in Texas, so when I moved here I started watching the Longhorns alongside James, and soon found myself rooting for them. (Plus I just so happen to love the color burnt orange.) I fell in love with Colt McCoy and have so much respect for his values and priorities. I had so much fun watching the championship last year, and am anxious to see how our new QB fairs this season. HOOK 'EM HORNS!
{2} Fall Scents...

I have to agree with Taylor on the pumpkin bread. Here's my go-to recipe...
{Printable Version}I find myself baking it as soon as the weather cools just to get the house smelling like fall. Not to mention it's just DELICIOUS. Starbucks sees me A LOT this time of year... One tall non-fat hot chocolate and a slice of pumpkin bread, please! Although Knox just so happens to love it too and usually ends up getting the majority of my slice :-/
And I'll take it a step further and say I love ALL fall scents. I've been known to spend 15 minutes in Target or where ever just trying to pick out my jar candles and potpourri for the fall. Another favorite besides anything pumpkin... Apple Crisp!

Hey y'all! I'm a 24yr old Tennessee girl born-and-bred. Daughter of the King of Kings, wife, mother to 2 precious ones, and NICU nurse on indefinite hiatus... We moved to the great state of Texas 2.5 years ago, and thus began my blogging journey... Head on over
