So far we're surviving. Despite tropical rain storms, flash flooding, and tornadoes I've been able to manage getting all 3 of us ready and out the door for all of our activities and appointments all week. Granted, we may not always be on time, but we make it ;)

[Very first time out with the two last Monday.]
Tuesday Knox had his first day of MDO...
Was he excited??? Let's just say he ran the whole way from the car to his classroom shouting "Friends! Friends! Friends!" Haha. He's never quite grasped the concept of seperation anxiety...
I swear I snapped SO many pictures with his saying CHEESE and I didn't catch one smile!
[He looks so big with his new 'pack pack' and lunch box!]
[He's SUCH a proud big brother!]
He wanted no part of pictures once we got to school, he just wanted to get to his room! And according to Ms. Jennifer and Ms. Alyson - he had a fabulous first day!
[After school juice in the car has become our little tradition :)]
I enjoyed MY first day of MDO too ;) Right after we dropped Knox off Hadley and I took care of some long-awaited errands... Kid-to-Kid for bows and a bouncy seat ($16 and it looks brand new!), Babies-R-Us to make some exchanges, and Hobby Lobby.
James worked LATE late Tuesday night so I also had to drag the two with me to my MOPS Steering Committee meeting at 7. Our first meeting is Monday and I'm so excited! We've got an awesome group on Steering and i have a feeling it's gonna be a great year :) I'm the Crafts Coordinator so I've spent all week trying to get my game plan, supplies, and budget together. I think I've got some cute activities planned, and I'm sure I'll share them each month.
[I loved her in this little outfit!]
We had CRAZY rain and flooding on Wednesday. And - of course - Miss Hadley had her 2 week Well Baby check-up so we had to get out in that mess :-/ But the appointment went well. My sweet princess is a growing girl! 21.25 inches (19.5" at birth) and 8lbs 9.5oz. (She was 7lbs 13oz just one week before!}
She's still a fairly good baby. Although I will say that she is a little more high maintenance than Knox was, but that's not even fair because he was seriously like a freakishly easy baby. Basically she just requires a little more attention to get back to sleep. But when she's down she sleeps great (7 hours last night!) so I really have no room to complain :)
Knox headed back to school Thursday and I actually sent him in a Pull-Up. Now that Hadley's here we're starting to migrate towards the ever-dreaded potty training. I've sat him on the potty several times but have never actually got him to go. So I figured letting him get on schedule with the other 'potty trainers' at school would be good practice/introduction, and what do you know, I picked him up today and his teachers said he went! That's the first time ever, and it just figures it was at school. Haha - oh well... I'll send him in Pull-Ups next week to, and then maybe next weekend we'll do the 2 day stretch at home in his new big boy underwears (Cars, no doubt). Hopefully soon we'll have just one child in diapers again!
[Almost 3 weeks old. She's looks to big!]
Took advantage of my second Mother's Day Out by taking Hadley up to the hospital to have her second Newborn Screen drawn. She did so well - she didn't even flinch at the heelstick...
...And they were kind enough to give her a cute pink bandage to match her outfit ;)
We also swung by Joann's and had a OTB lunch date with some of our girlfriends.
James is home today and I'm catching up on laundry and cleaning. No big plans this weekend. I wish I could say we're just gonna enjoy the wether, but unfortunately it's suppossed to be HOT and thanks to all the rain - humid. :(

I know you have no clue who I am but I ran across your blog and it caught my attention!:)I have a soft spot for NICU nurses because they took care of my baby boy for 5weeks after he was born early this past fall. You sure do have 2 beautiful babies! I LOVE Knox's carseat cover! My husband's heart would melt if he saw it. My son, Easton, is turning 1 in 2 weeks and is needing to transfer over to the front facing seat. Where in the world did you find it?
Apparently Knox has a popular carseat! Haha - it's a Britax Marathon. It was actually the one James picked for his truck but we had to put the toddler seat in there instead when Hadley joined us because the Britax wouldn't fit behind the driver's seat... Anyway - we got it at a boutique store in TN when I was pregnant with him, but I think you could probably still find them online if you just do a search for 'Britax camo carseat' :) Either that or I think you can order covers from the Britax site.
Your kids are adorable1 I love Knox's pack pack and lunch box, so cute! Where did you get his camo car seat cover? My husband would love that!!
