However - tired as I was, I still could't sleep. Thanks to my random pregnancy symptoms - RLS and itchy palms and feet. So I took advantage of my insomnia and got some last minute "nesting" done before we headed out of town for 5 days...
Newborn-sized onsies for the hospital bag! Because - yes - my babies are absolutely too good for those stinkin' t-shirts ;)
...And a "fancier" set of monogrammed bloomers for her nicer dresses.
Other things taken care of this past week...
Hadley's furniture came in! (Yes, I am ordering a new changing pad cover.) It's the dresser, night stand, and glider, and they all just go perfectly with the crib. And yep - my sassy new diaper bag made it in too. I'm obsessed.
And MAJOR ACCOMPLISHMENT : I got all her clothes washed, organized, and put away. (In lined drawers, no doubt.) Here's all her sweet jammies... And these are only Newborn-3 months size!
NO - The crib bedding is not finished but here's a rough peek of what it's gonna look like. One of these days... But seriously, once we get back home I'm hitting it hard and heavy to get them done. (I'm 35 weeks!!!) I've just been so busy planning this couple's shower for our friends here in TN that I haven't been able to get as far as I'd like on it. (Although I have made significant progress...)
And on the shower... I'm so excited! All the details are falling together nicely. I'm making a Sam's and Kroger run tomorrow to pick up a few neccessities and I hope to get the majority of everything put together today (Thursday) and Friday. Mainly because we're having maternity pics taken Saturday morning! Excited - and I'm sure I'll have more to post on that, but in the meantime I need to figure out what everyone is wearing...

So stinking cute! I wish I had the talent you do to sew! I amnot sure if I have posted before but I have followed you for a little while, and think your blog is so cute! Thank you for sharing.
Looks like you are all set to welcome that little princess home :)
my machine is a brother. they have several different "levels" to choose from, and it's more of me pressing the right buttons than talent, but thanks anyway!! :)
Everything is adorable, I really love the onsies and I LOVE where your going with the crib bedding. I can't wait to see the finished product. I hope you get to slow down very soon, I know you want to get it all done, but you are going to need your rest so TRY ;-)
God Bless, and enjoy your trip.
