i'm just your average southern-bred, conservative-minded, saved-by-grace, tactfully-opinionated, crafty,(& maybe a bit sassy?) stay-at-home mom. {oh and some nights i'm a nicu rn too...} i grew up in tn but have recently moved to texas & and it's really starting to grow on me. i adore my family & my god, & if you want to know more about me, you can click here. i hope this blog will help family & friends back in tn keep up with us, & hopefully provide the rest of you with a little entertainment & a few good bites. ya'll enjoy it!
james is my incredibly sweet and patient husband. he's works full time in litigation and is good at his job. oh, and he's also a wonderful father! whenever he can't hang out with his lovely wife, he enjoys music, golf, movies, working-out, traveling, XBox, his truck, and fishing.
knox is our spirited 2 year old, whom we affectionately refer to as hoobs, hoobie doo, boo boo, wittle, or whatever ridiculous name comes to mind. he's all boy, smart, and such a happy little thing. he loves books, tonka trucks, bathtime, 'ruff-ruffs', ice cream rough-housing with daddy, cars, balls, and playing outside. not sure how i ended up with the most wonderful baby ever, but i'm having a blast watching him grow and can't wait to see what these next years have in store!
We are due in August to welcome our second child in to our family... A sweet baby GIRL! Not only am I beyond thrilled to have an excuse to channel all things frilly and foofy, but I love the balance she will bring to our clan. So far I've been blessed with another glorious pregnancy, and I fall more and more in love with this sweet baby cake every day :)
