dipes & wipes

So ever since Knox has graduated to a big size 5 diaper, I've had a bee in my bonnet to make him a new 'dipes & wipes' case. I've always had to use one since my purse is my diaper bag (and vice-versa) so when I leave Knox in the nursery or at MOPS, I can just leave him with the essentials - diapers and juice - while the bag stays with me. I got his old one from Babies-R-Us and although it's cute, it's just a little small now and let's face it...

It's seen better days!

So I came across some terribly cute vintage cowboy fabric at HL and last night I sat down and finagled up a pattern for a size-5-friendly diaper case...

Cute, right?

It velcros shut and perfectly holds my wipes case and 3 diapers, AND...

It looks oh-so-cute with my red bag! (Because that's important too...)

And just a reminder, tomorrow is...

We're going to be sharing our favorite bible verses and why they are important to us. Link up here in the morning.

I too am so jealous of your mad sewing skills! It's been over 10 yrs since I've sewn and I did it poorly from what I remember. I want a wipes case! Sell me one! :o)
