show us your life : christmas trees

 So I've been decorating all week - but I tackled my tree first so it's been done for a few days. I loved how it turned out...
 1. First off - plain old white lights. I kind of wish I'd added a string or too more, because my philosophy is the more the better! Although it does look "fuller" in real life than it does here... I think the flash drains out most of the lights. 2. I love wide ribbon on a tree. I even used some to make the tree topper. 3. And then my filler ornaments... I got a tub of 100 green, gold, and brown ornanments from Sam's for $34. They are so cute! 4. My FAVORITE detail - my 'curlies'. I put gold and green glittered ones all throughout the tree for a great whimsical effect. 5. And the tree skirt - $20 at Gordman's. Can't get any better than that, right? Now if I could just get some presents wrapped and under that tree!!
