layin low

Yes - laying' low perfectly describes how we've spent the past 3 or 4 days. Knox is still recovering from his double ear infection, so we didn't do anything crazy over the weekend... There was a lot of laying around in jammies, cat-napping...

...drinking hot chocolate, and movie watching going on. Along with church and lunch out on Sunday.

Today, I was finally able to send my Christmas cards off (which I will share tomorrow in Faith's card carousel), and now I'm sitting down to my computer about to watch the instructional CD for my new Brother sewing/embroidery machine... Can you believe it - one crazy month later and I still haven't gotten to take it for a test drive! But I've got some motivation now because there's several things I'm itching to make. Namely, a new nap mat cover for Knox, and I'm thinking I may try my hand at making some stockings. We'll see...

But before that, I wanted to post a few pictures from our weekend :)

Here's Knox helping Daddy clean the floors...

Two boys cleaning floors?!? Glad I got it on camera ;)

And little boy has really taken to the whole concept of the Advent Calendar...
He brings me this at least 5 times a day begging, 'Peese peese peese, PEEEEEESE!' I have a feeling he's gonna be sorely disappointed when there's no more candy after Christmas. (Or before then, if he keeps sneaking in to it!)

And can I get a drum roll, please...

At 18 months, baby boy FINALLY has enough hair for a mohawk ;)

Loving his holy Little People...

Climbing underneath my table...

Such a goof!

Caught ya! Look at that guilty face...

He KNOWS daddy's office is off limits...

...Oh - and in the spirit of the season I added a few of my most favorite Christmas songs to my playlist (bottom, right sidebar). They are Let there be Light by Point of Grace, Joseph's Lullaby by Mercy Me, and I Believe by Natalie Grant... I'm loving them all this season. They carry such heartfelt messages about our Saviour's birth. Check them out!
