This is a mostly recycled post ;) I shared my Christmas Decorations last week with my Tuesday's List, but I just had to join in when I heard about this tour...
{1} The Tree

And here's a more detailed collage I posted with last week's Show Us Your Life...

As of now this is our main tree. It's kind of a mix between 'homey' and 'formal'. I'm really wanting to pick up a tall, skinny tree on clearance after the season to have as a 2nd "formal" tree for the entry way.

I went with a green, blue, and brown theme and I couldn't be happier with it! I debated for a while about putting a tree in there, but when I found this one at Kohl's for $15, I just couldn't resist. I'm glad I did too, because Knox LOVES turning it off and on, and watching it while he goes to sleep. And yes - that's one of his blankies that, out of desperation, I'm using as a skirt... I think it's actually kind of cute though :)
{2} The Mantle

I just LOVE my mantle! I found a beautiful decorative garland at Marshall's Home Goods for $14 and it just MAKES it. And the plaque hanging under the "Miracles" sign is an imprint of Knox's foot from last year. So sweet! I'm not too crazy about my stockings though. They were a last minute buy from last year. I'm hoping to find some cuter ones on sale after the season...
{3} The Nativity

Jesus wouldn't mind that I set up my nativity on my kitchen bar server, right?? Haha! I got that set from Kirland's for like $16, but I'm holding out for my Willow Tree one... I collect the hand-carved figures (see the couple with the baby under the tree) and they have the most beautiful nativity set. Just a little pricey though... The tree on the right I made for next-to-nothing, and the adorable snowman to left - another great Kirkland's find :)
And have I mentioned Knox is OBSESSED with Fisher Price's Little People? His favorite is the Noah's Arc set, so it's only natural that I had to get him the...

Little People Nativity :) How cute is that?! And being that Knox is really in to "bebes" right now, you can only imagine which figure is his favorite... Oh that poor baby Jesus has been all OVER our house, wedged into spaces you'd never guess. The Where-in-the-World-is-Baby-Jesus game has since become a nightly ritual for me while picking up...
{4} The Porch

Our outdoor decor consists of oversized ornaments hanging from the porch ceiling, a 4ft christmas tree, a Noel sign that you can't see here, and this wreath I made...

I like how it turned out but I'm still on the look-out for something cuter to hang in the middle of it... We have plain white C9 lights lining our roof, but James still has 1 more elevation to finish out so I haven't taken pics yet. And I'd also like to throw some lights in the bushes, and find another little something to go beside the tree on the porch...
{5} Knick-Knacks
And here's just a few of my favorite things around the house...

I got this Advent counter (again) at Marshall's Home Goods for like $14. LOVE that place!

My mom gave me this cute snowman candle holder. It's PERFECT to dress up our yummy holiday jar candles!

I recently re-did a wall in our kitchen with shelves, so I was able to place a few Christmasy things on them...

And here's our end table in the den complete with a few of Knox's classic Christmas books...

Everything looks great! I'm so going to look for clearance trees this year for my boy's rooms. Just wanted to let you know that I've been a lurker on your blog for a while now. I really enjoy your adorable blog. My hubby is also an attorney and I'm the only gal in the house so we've got that in common. Keep the great post coming and have a Merry Christmas!
