So I've decided to do this "Family Blog" since we are moving away. I figured it would be a good way to keep all you Tennesseans up-to-date with us. (Okay, with
Knox...) However, I am still trying to figure out the ins and outs of this thing. We'll see how long I can keep this up...

So, like I said before, we are moving to Texas. James has been there for three weeks now. He just started a new job and I am proud of him, but we MISS him! He spent this past week down in the carribean "working" on a trial. Some job, right? But he is coming home for a visit this weekend. Knox and I will officially move down February 21st. Needless to say I have been running around trying to pack and tie up loose ends here. I am excited about the move but I'm going to miss all of our family and friends. (We will have 2 guest bedrooms if anyone feels like visiting!!!) I am also going to miss working at LeBonheur. My last day is the 14th. I am just thankful for being able to work there for as long as I did. I had some great learning experiences and even better patients and co-workers! As it stands right now, I am not going to be working in TX. My plan is to find a reliable sitter for Knox soon and then I think I would like to do something like pediatric home health part-time - just enough to keep my skills up and maybe cover our health insurance until I graduate. We'll see...

As far as Knox - wow, I can't believe how time has flown by! He is already 8 months old and is acting like such a big boy. He no longer wants to cuddle with Mommy :( He started crawling a few weeks ago and now is thinking about pulling up. He is everywhere! It is so hard to keep tabs on him in this apartment because I can't gate him off anywhere. That's another reason I am anxious to get into the house. He is such a good baby though. He is always so happy. Lately, some of his favorites are bath time, the remote control, giving "smooches," making motorboat noises, and eating absolutely anything. He is HUGE - 90th percentile at his 6 month check up. James and I are seriously considering buying stock in Similac and Huggies...
Well, speaking of Knox, he is down for his morning nap and I have got laundry and dishes that need to be done. Hopefully I will have another post soon. God Bless!
But those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles. They will walk and not grow weary.
